CAF cavitation air flotation equipment mainly includes air flotation box, cavitation aerator, chain sludge scraping system, scum collection and discharge system, overflow water system, electronic control system, dispensing tank, chemical storage tank, glass rotor flowmeter, reflux pipeline, annular operation platform and chemical adding pump.
The equipment box can be an integral steel plate structure, but also by my company to provide box drawings, users build concrete structure by my company's technical personnel on-site guidance installation. Pollutants in sewage are divided into dissolved organic matter and insoluble matter (SS). Under certain conditions, dissolved organic matter can be converted into insoluble matter. One of the methods of sewage treatment is to add coagulant and flocculant to convert most dissolved organic matter into insoluble matter, and then remove all or most of insoluble matter (SS) to achieve the purpose of purifying sewage. The main method of removing SS is to use flotation method.
CAF is the process by which air floats. The vortex aerator injects microbubbles directly into sewage without dissolving gas in advance, and then distributes microbubbles evenly in sewage through precision cast stainless steel diffuser, so there is no blocking phenomenon. This equipment does not need auxiliary equipment such as pressure vessel, air compressor and circulating pump.
Untreated sewage first enters the aeration section and is fully mixed with microbubbles, which bring suspended solids to the water surface in the process of rising. The sludge scraper moves along the liquid surface, scraping the suspended matter onto the inclined metal plate and pushing it into the sludge discharge pipe. The sludge discharge pipe has horizontal screw propeller, which sends collected sludge to sludge collector. The propeller and sludge scraper are driven by the same motor. Before discharge, the purified sewage will pass through an overflow tank under the inclined plate. The overflow tank is used to control the water level in the air flotation tank to ensure that the liquid in the tank will not flow into the sludge discharge pipe.
An open return pipe extends from the aeration section along the bottom of the flotation tank. While generating microbubbles, the cavitation aerator will form a negative pressure area at the bottom of the tank with a return pipe, which will make water return from the bottom of the tank to the aeration area and then return to the air flotation section. The return pipe is provided with a one-way valve, so that the sewage entering the aeration tank will not directly enter the air flotation tank from the return pipe without treatment. The whole process ensures that air flotation continues without inflow.
 
VI. Advantages of CAF cavitation air flotation equipment
 
1. Saving investment
CAF can be used to treat urban sewage and industrial sewage without pressure tank, air compressor, circulating pump and other auxiliary equipment. The equipment can remove grease, colloid, solid suspended matter, COD and BOD from sewage. Using it to treat the wastewater in the middle stage of chemical pulping can greatly reduce the scale of biochemical secondary treatment (if waste paper is used as raw material, the wastewater generated by deinking and bleaching processes can be discharged or reused without biochemical secondary treatment), and even the biochemical treatment process can be omitted and discharged directly up to standard, thus greatly reducing the overall investment cost.
2, low operating costs
The equipment adopts multiple aerators, and the number of aerators is determined according to the different water treatment amount. The power of each aerator is only 2.2Kw; the sludge scraper and sludge screw propeller are driven by the same motor, and the power is 1.1KW-2.2Kw. The power consumption of CAF cavitation flotation equipment is very small, only equivalent to 1/8-1/10 of the traditional dissolved air flotation method, and maintenance and manual operation are very few, and no worker is required to watch during normal operation.

In contrast to traditional grease traps (gravity settling tanks and separation tanks), CAF is an automatic and continuous removal of solid sludge from wastewater. Sludge removal and storage is carried out in a concentrated manner, and the highest concentration of floating sludge collected by this equipment can reach about 5%, thus reducing the operating cost of sludge treatment.

The amount of water entering the CAF does not need to be balanced, and even if the flow rate is changed, the equipment can work normally.
